Project 365 November 24 – November 30

Well that was a huge week and will just brag a little again, cos I really worked my butt off for this. I have just been accepted as a CMPro.  (“CMpro is a women’s organization of professional photographers and highly skilled artists whose work demonstrates creativity, vision, and artistic and technical excellence. From child and family photographers to wedding photographers, senior photographers, fine art photographers, and beyond, CMpro is a community rich in talent and diversity.”

I had to submit a portfolio of 150 images and they are judged on these criteria:

“The evaluation rubric is broken into seven categories with six levels in  each category.  A full breakdown of the rubric  can be found in the pre-application package.

The rubric categories are:

  • The Exposure Triangle
  • Color and White Balance
  • Use of Light
  • Composition and Posing
  • Processing Cohesion and Polish
  • Technical (focus, DOF, etc)
  • Creativity, Expression and Intention

The levels per category are:

  • Beginning – 1
  • Emerging – 2
  • Developing – 3
  • Capable – 4
  • Experienced – 5
  • Exceptional – 6

In order to be admitted to CMpro, applicants must meet two requirements:
