Perth Newborn Photographer | Baby Maxen

Baby Maxen was the best little model until we unwrapped him, and then he was having none of it. And that’s just how  it goes sometimes.  So if you’re worried about what to expect at your newborn session, please don’t stress, I will always get amazing photos of your family and your newborn baby.

Custom newborn photography is one of the best investments you can make to help you preserve this very special and unique time in your life. So, if you’re considering custom newborn photography, the best time to book is early in your pregnancy so that you don’t miss out.  Good photographers book out very quickly – sometimes months in advance. I know my diary fills very quickly and I only pencil in 2 newborns a week so I can create a custom experience for you. Think about how valuable these will be in ten or twenty years time. Many people gasp when they first hear the price of custom photography, especially if they have never used a professional photographer before,  but don’t blink an eye when buying a pram, or big screen tv. How mush will you value that pram in 20 years time? Try and see it as the best  investment you can make in your family. Think of the joy walking past his precious portrait every day will bring you. That is priceless.

Photographing newborns is a real passion for me. I spend a lot of time perfecting each shot. Making sure your baby is safely and comfortably positioned.

I like to use soft muted tones – so you will find my studio is filled with rustic bowls, beds and wreaths. I find the best colours are creams, browns, mochas, peaches and greens.

When you arrive at the studio you might find it quite warm, this is to help keep your baby content and sleepy.

I will take over as soon as you arrive, I will briefly explain what we will be trying to achieve for your session and then begin undressing and wrapping your baby. I always recommend bringing a dummy – even if you insist on not using one, sometimes it’s all we need to settle bub.

So you just need to sit back, relax and let me help you create the best memories ever.
