Here is a little sneak peak at what a maternity and newborn session look like with Perth Baby Photographer Channon Williamson
This mummy and I met for a lovely coffee before her maternity session to chat about what she was looking for. I learned so many things about them, like how much they loved the bush and they really wanted something organic and natural. She also asked me to include the spring blossoms in her newborn session and specifically wanted a hanging image. I loved shooting their maternity session at Lesmurdie falls in the gorgeous afternoon light and the wildflowers. We also included their beloved Rotweiler in the session.
I love creating unique sessions that are meaningful to parents. That way you will enjoy your images for years to come. This couple wanted a more lifestyle feel for their newborn images and so I focused more on the parent images and the beautiful love and bond I could feel they had for their new baby, as well as incorporating the beautiful spring blossoms Mumma had asked for, It’s so important to trust your newborn photographer, after all, you new baby is only this small once. We soon forget how their skin flaked and their little toes were so tiny and crooked, or how they smiled in their sleep. It’s also important your newborn photographer is well educated in baby safety. I would never hang a baby in the air, so the “hanging image” is a composite image, where I take several different photographs and blend them together in Photoshop so your baby is safe at all times.
