My 2016 Journey | January 6 – January 12

So here we are in week 2 of my 2016 journey. The children are getting bored and we have a few weeks – did I say weeks? –  left of the holidays. Luckily this week is action packed again.  I have been  loving spending time in my garden. So much to do and so little time. I can’t tell you how rewarding it is to finally be able to plant some plants like lavender, and a few herbs and my favourite Gardenia.  It was our first fairly quiet week and I for one was thankful for a bit of downtime. I also watch in amazement daily as my eldest daughter transforms before my eyes. I wish I could stop this clock. Please don’t forget to see what the rest of the ladies have been up to – here is ALICIA’s week.

My favorite part about sharing this project with you are your glimpses of summer while we’re stuck in the middle of winter!

And I love the opposite – how I long for snow and cold 🙂 I haven’t experienced a winter in over 6 years
