How Many Photos will I get in my Newborn Session?
I am often asked how many photos you will receive from a session, so I though it would be easier to illustrate. My aim is to provide you with 20 absolutely stunning, completely different pictures that you will love, and that capture all the poses and tiny details of your precious bub. I do not show duplicates or a slightly different angle to make up numbers. So yes I could show you 40, but experience has shown me that when it comes to quality – less is definitely more.
I am here to provide you with a perfect celebration of your new baby, and I am your friend and guide on this amazing experience.
The only way to truly understand what you are getting is to book your coffee date so I can show you and explain. Because otherwise it’s like paying for an expensive dress online, with no picture available, just a description that says: Gorgeous green dress. I am sure you would never buy that, just as I don’t expect you to decide on anything until you have seen, touched and fallen in love with your photos.
Professional hair and make up at your newborn session – it’s hard getting out of the house with a newborn and I want you to feel pampered, relaxed and beautiful for your session. Trust me, it’s worth it.
FAMILY & SIBLING PORTRAITS
The family portraits include approximately 6 – 7 photos
2 family photos – one with mum holding bub and one with dad holding bub.

I show your family photos in both colour and black and white but consider them as 1 photo
PORTRAITS USING PROPS
I then do a selection of prop shots using buckets bowls etc. which results in 4 – 5 photos – if you want more props or less props – those are the sort of details we discuss at your coffee date.
I then focus on the more simple nudie and wrapped type shots – sometimes we use an outfit/bonnets/tiebacks and knitted wraps to add texture and colour – this is your choice entirely and again, something we will discuss at your coffee appointment.
10 – 12 photos
Sometimes a very unsettled bub comes into the studio and being wrapped seems to be what they prefer.
And finally, a set of macro detail shots
I am part of a blog circle around the world, and every month we will be linking to each other so you can see what people around the world get up to each month.
