I have joined a new blog circle and I am doing things a little differently from now on. Hopefully the number of people will stay nice and high so we get some real support and motivation for keeping going. So I haven’t forgotten to post the last few weeks, I am going to be posting monthly from now on and we are following themes. This month is BLUE and I have been collecting them since my last post. There won’t be 30 images but a nice collection from each month. Thank you for always looking and I hope you enjoy.
We celebrated a very important double digit birthday this month, have had so much rain I am starting to feel waterlogged and managed a weekend escape to Karratha for some warmth and work.
A very special birthday cake
Blue Jelly to match the cake
Rare black cockatoo with a gorgeous blue sky to frame him
Texture – you know I love texture
Blue shoes – all muddy from all the rain
One of my favourite places on earth – Hearson’s Cove – even though I get eaten alive by midgies every time I go there.
Blue skies – heading for Karratha
It’ was weird heading back up north, it almost felt like I was going back home. Karratha is the only place in Australia we did call home for 6 years. The light and landscape got under my skin and it felt great to be back. I will never miss the heat and the flies and aspects of living in a small town. But I can honestly say I do miss you Karratha.
